Tooooo many books at once

So...when I went away last month I had made all my library holds inactive. For the first week I was back I didn't reactivate any of them. The second week I made a quarter of them active, then half. Last week I made them all active.

I now have seventeen books checked out of the library and I know I'm not going to be able to read them all and it's making me cranky. Because I have a fantastic list of books. How do I choose which ones actually get read? Arg!

  • Best Friends Forever - Jennifer Weiner

  • Not Becoming My Mother: and other things she taught me - Ruth Reichl

  • The Physik Book of Deliverance Dane - Katherine Howe

  • Thursday Next: Lost In A Good Book - Jasper Fforde (this one IS getting read for sure)

  • Impossible: A Novel

  • The Lightning Thief - Rich Riordan (I know, I can't believe I hadn't read it either)

  • I loved, I lost, I made spaghetti - Giulla Melucci (great title isn't it?)

  • The late, lamented Molly Marx - Sally Koslow

  • Beyond Heaving Bosoms: the smart bitches' guide to romance novels - Sarah Wendell and Candy Tan (Smart Bitches!)

  • Camp nurse: my adventures in summer camp - Tilda Shalof (hmm this one might be Canadian?)

  • Models don't eat chocolate cookies - Erin Dionne

  • Because I am furniture - Thalia Chaltas

  • If you live like me - Lori Weber

  • Apples for Jam: recipes for life - Tessa Kiros

  • Red-Headed Stepchild - Jaye Wells

  • The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate - Jacqueline Kelly (yay!)

  • Atlas of Unknowns - Tania James

I'd love to read all of these. But I know I want. I just don't have enough time. sigh. Oh, the woes of a book blogger. ;)
