Ready to Let 'Er RIP III

Ok, I've thought about it, I've ordered books and I'm ready to list them. The first four books in the list are ones that I'm hoping that I'll read but I'll be adding some others to the list that I'll have available for substitutions. (I need selection people, a list of only 4 would kill me and that's totally not what Carl meant when he started this whole RIP thing.) I have access to all of these books (or will when my book order comes in) so there's nothing to stop me.

For Peril the First I will read four of the follow books.

  • The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins (I'm ready to shoot myself for even suggesting it but I will be starting this one Sept 1 assuming the book is delivered by then..)

  • Dracula by Bram Stoker (in the same order as the Collins)

  • Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen (also on my A-Z list - a double whammy!)

  • Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (another A-Z double whammy.)

  • Untamed: A House of Night book by Kristen Cast and PC Cast (preordered)

  • Four and Twenty Blackbirds by Cherie Priest (I have an ebook file)

  • The Umbrella Man and other Stories by Roald Dahl (own it)

  • Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke (I once read two pages of it, it's uncomfortable to hold)

  • Valient by Holly Black

I think that's enough selection for me to actually finish this. The only problem now is that I have to wait to start. *grumble*

There's still time to sign up! Head over to Carl's blog!
