An Enchanted April

A few weeks ago I was browsing at a local second hand book and record store when I noticed something. Many somethings actually. Those somethings were green spines with an itty-bitty apple on them. Yes! Viragos!

I bought nearly all of them. I'm trying to figure out if I have time to go back in the next 36 hours and pilfer the rest of them. But then I remember if I buy them I have to pack them and I'm so bloody sick of packing. It's a much harder decision than it would be normally.

The first on the block to read was Elizabeth von Arnim's The Enchanted April. I really, really liked it. I probably would have absolutely loved it if I hadn't finished Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day about an hour before I read it.

I have to go shower, load up our truck with stuff we don't want the movers to move, drive two hours to the new place, unload the truck, drop something off at an employment agency, drive two hours back to here, clean, pack, do some BlogHer work and perhaps curl up into a ball and die. Or maybe I'll just open that last bottle of wine instead.

I wrote this post last week when I was moving but for some reason it didn't post. DOH!

So I'm going to send you over to Danielle's post on The Enchanted April. And continue to wish that I was at San Salvatore right now instead of doing everything that I'm doing.

Move is was Wednesday morning. Internet and phone being set up on Thursday Friday due to idiocy on the cable company's end. I'll start posting regularly again next this week. I have more books to update, unless any of you want to be as kind as Danielle and write a really great post about one of the books on my list that I can link to, and if only I could remember what else I read that weekend. Because I sure as heck haven't read anything since!
