I ran to the library on my lunch today and I was really happy that a copy of The Odd Women by George Gissing was waiting for me. When I decided that I'd read classics that I hadn't read before as part of the summer challenge I played around on the Penguin classics website (by the way Denise they aren't orange here - they are black or black and yellow). This one caught my eye and I pegged it as an SRC book. I read the first chapter during the last few minutes of my lunch break (it was a short chapter) and I have to say I think I'm really going to enjoy it. I suspect I'll have inhaled most of it by the time I go to bed tonight.
