A Brief Chapter in my Impossible Life

a brief chapter in my impossible lifeI've blogged about 3 books in 3 days. I think I'm on a roll. Or maybe I just took Rachel's "READ LIKE HELL!" to heart. ;)I first heard of Dana Reinhardt's A Brief Chapter in My Impossible Life on Bookshelves of Doom (see sidebar for link). I was intrigued so I added it to my request list. It's a good book. (I know! I'm actually saying something is good!)

Simone is a junior in high school. She's adopted. She's always known that she's adopted. But she's never really allowed herself to be curious about her birth mother. She knows she name, Rivka, but that's about it. Then one day, near the beginning of the school year, her parents drop the bomb on her. Rivka has been in contact with them and would like to Simone to contact her.

It's a really sweet coming of age book. I do recommend this one.
