Confession

Hello, my name is sassymonkey and I am a samosa addict.

It's true. I can't get enough of these little potato-filled packets. They are just so yummy and tasty. And they are all over my neighbourhood. Although that might have something to do with the fact that I'm really, really close to Little India.

Narula's Chat, Dosa & Thali House is directly across from my library. It has become part of my library routine. Into the library for books and then run across the street for samosas. They are sooooo yummy. And cheap! For $2 (plus tax) I can get two samosas with a side a chickpeas. It's tasty and filling! Or I can't get individual samosas for $0.50 each. Their thali is pretty tasty too. I'm pretty convinced that they think I'm insane for ordering samosas constantly. That's ok with me. I can live with that.
Today I needed some fresh ginger so I walked up a block and went to BJ Super Market. I had forgotten that they sell samosas there too. Very dangerous. I can get 3 samosas there for $1 (no sauces or sides though).

There are downfalls to this though. Since I'm always busy eating samosas that I never think to stop at the stands that pop up in nice weather that sell roasted corn and fresh sugar cane juice.

On the rare occasion that I'm not munching on samosas I'm ordering pizza from Pizza Time. They are the only place I know of that gives you a choice between mild and spicy pizza sauce. And it's way cheaper than ordering in from Pizza Pizza or Dominos. I get a large pizza with 4 toppings for about $10. Mmmmmmmmm

So yes...I'm a samosa addict. I have them at least once a week. I don't think it's at the intervention stage. Yet...
