The verdict is…

The whole Signature Dessert thing is a pain in the butt and VERY messy. 

The syrup part is what makes it really messy.  It really doesn't quite soak in the quite the way you want it too.  Half of mine ended on the counter.  A mess!

The mousse frosting is ok.  It's tasty but it's very light.  It doesn't hold up the greatest when you plop another layer of cake on top of it.

The assembled cake - it's ok. It tastes good but overall I think I'd rather just have a regular old cake mix and regular old frosting from a container.  The extra trouble for this signature thingy really isn't worth it.
