Meal Plan Week 1

This is one of my New Year's resolutions - meal planning. I think it will help me keep my grocery budget (which is yet to be determined...) in line. This isn't really *everything* I'm going to eat. I'm not being that hardcore about it. And things may get moved around as I get cravings etc. I haven't filled in Friday dinner because Friday's are often unpredictable. It's not uncommon for dinner plans to suddenly pop up.

And there's so much carrot soup on the menu this week because a) I really like soup and b) I'm about to get off my lazy ass and make some homemade carrot soup seeing as last week I bought myself a BLENDER! Too bad I'm too lazy to also make some homemade bread (note to shelf: type out bread recipe before Lav's little sister kicks my butt).

Monday
B: smoothie (no lunch because breakfast was at lunch time)
D: pasta + small bowl of carrot soup

Tuesday
B: cereal + coffee
L: carrot soup
D: mango poppy-seed chicken breast, baked potato + asparagus

Wednesday
B: cereal + coffee
L: blt
D: chicken quesadillas + salad

Thursday
B: cereal + coffee
L: carrot soup
D: veggies + couscous with peanut sauce

Friday
B: cereal + coffee
L: carrot soup
D: ?

Grocery List: salad greens, cucumber, green pepper, milk, crackers
