Laaaaaazy

That's what I've been for the last few days - lazy! It's been great. I like having all this time off work. :)

But I'm reaching the point of laziness where I'm starting to feel like I should be doing something. Difficult because my energy level has been very low the last couple of days. Probably because I haven't been sleeping well.

So I've been sitting here thinking of things that I could do that don't require a lot of energy. I can't seem to focus on reading today. I'm too sleepy. I need to pick up a few things at the grocery store but I decided to go to the St. Lawrence Market tomorrow so there's not really much point. At some point I have to figure out my budget for the next month, but again the whole thinking and concentration thing.

All this was reminding me of the days when I used to work at my old job and would suddenly go from working until 9 every night to getting off work at 5. I didn't know what to do with myself. That was when I taught myself how to knit. I thought that knitting would be nice but I lost a knitting needle in the shuffle of moving for my most recent project (please note that the term "recent" is used very loosely - I think I've been working on it for more than a year now...).

But then I remembered that I have one size of knitting needles for which I have two sizes! Hmm I thought to myself - what are the odds that it would be the size for this project. It was! Yay.

So my plan for the night is to pop in Bride and Prejudice and knit. Then make dinner (I have a steak marinating and I'm going to make a baked potato and a green salad). Then likely another movie and more knitting unless my hand starts to cramp. ;-)

Yay for being a country-raised geeky girl. lol
