Handmaid's Tale

I finally finished Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. Not that it took a long time to read really, I just haven't been putting aside much time for reading lately. I was familiar with the story because the movie was on TV once when I was younger. I may be wrong but doesn't the movie focus a bit more on the relationship between the Handmaid and Nick? Or are those just the scenes I remember most?

I just don't feel like I have much to say about it. It's a good book and everyone knows that it's a good book. Really what can be said about it that hasn't been said elsewhere?

I think that the bigger question is do I go see Margaret Atwood next month when she's in town? I can't decide. Mainly because I'm pretty sure that it is when the redheads are in town and that may be the same day as Dav's birthday party. The little princess takes precedence over the great literary woman. Cause Dav only turns 2 once. I will likely have other opportunities to see Atwood again.

And I just want to say, it's really damn hard for me to spell Atwood's last name properly because my grandfather's name was "Attwood".
